I dont want to hijack this thread, even though there is little in it at the moment.

My Name is David, I was a watcher for a long time until i was registered, thanks mods. I am from the south east of Ireland. I am currently doing a higher degree in agricultural engineering, and am interested in plant.

I havent really operated equipment, the course was more theory than actual hands on. i have done design calculations and stuff, but as you might know, sometimes whats in theory and whats in real life are different

Welcome David,

We're a happy bunch here most of the time, but it helps to be thick skinned too!

What part of the country is South East Ireland? I'm up 'nrth in Co. Antrim.

You running any equipment yourself, or is it all study at the moment?

Nig

Hi powerfab, its been mostly theory, though I do have a small bit of experience on my cousins turf/bog laying machines. thats one of the problems with bloody college they are all theory and little practice.
