Since it would down a few days ago and I thought it was lost it appears to be loading much faster than before.

I'll have to take your word for that Gra .... I couldn't tell with my crap 'net .... which I have just changed to SSE ..... and finally kicked ****ing BT into touch :D:D

Was just thinking the same. Why does it happen??, do you have to keep up a subscription with a forum??

hosting fee is the only ongoing monthly cost. The forum software itself is usually purchased and then updates and so on. If you dont update from to each little update software companys run, it can be difficult to make a jump from say version 3 to the now version 5 or so on.
