The temps are up a bit so I will wait 'till it's colder. Odd thing is, I DO get 12V at the bussbar when have a Meter on it and turn the key to activate the glowplugs.

OK a few days later.....

Also...

Re: simple glowplug question

I get it. Yeah a glowplug is just shy of a direct short. So getting a spark when hitting the top makes sense.
I haven't gotten my nose back into it because of the almost daily snowfall, so I gotta...

Re: simple glowplug question

I guess the reason I know , deep down, that there is an issue was when I came across another machine, just like mine. The place uses it as a rental and the poor thing looks like it was Beat like a...

simple glowplug question

To test harness, I assume it is as simple as looking for 12V at the connector. One Meter probe at the Connector and the other to Ground on the Engine Block or Negative of battery. Since I bought...

Re: Small plastic 'paper' medium Fuel Filter

NO water in tank. I have a liquid you put on a Stick and drop it down the tank. They use it on home oil Burner tanks. I have also checked the water separator filter and no water drains. It has...

Re: Small plastic 'paper' medium Fuel Filter

[QUOTE=Cyberprog;154603]If you have a lot of water in the fuel, then you need to fit a water seperator - you may want to put a new housing and such into the machine - and if you prefer fram filters...

Smile Re: Jcb 130

D'uh, of course. I wonder, with the valve so close to the connector, will there be enough gap to actually relieve the pressure? I made a relief valve setup on the hoses of my 4:1 Bucket but that is...

Re: Small plastic 'paper' medium Fuel Filter

Ah, these are cross numbers for the Fram G3359.

No cross for the JCB #? The fram has one nipple at a Right angle to the filter. I was going to adapt a Brass nipple to that. I was hoping for a...

Small plastic 'paper' medium Fuel Filter

JCB MIDI CX has a Pre Filter ( 32/922300) that looks very much like a Fram # G3359 filter. Not sure if you folks across the pond are familiar with Fram as a filter company. The outer casing is...
