I used a flat can for used oil and a piece of curved metal as deflector and so I did not do any mess.

One of the bolts didn't get loose and the key lost the grip. I think that I have to spot-weld the alen-key on the bolt

It's easy to change the oil of a translation motor if it has the bolts letting oil in and out. But what if there is non of those bolts ?
