Had a nearly new (70hrs) r27 dropped this morning, you know what, I'm struggling to fault it, yeah there ain't that much foot room in the cab, but it's a 3 ton zero swing it was always gonna be cosy...

As for price, cheaper than gabions even without the labour saving, think I paid 55+vat for 1300mmx800mmx400mm blocks.

Hi Rory, I've done loads of gabion walls over the years. Firstly if pos get it designed by an engineer, your covered then if anything happens.
I'm not sure the first basket 200mm down is enough....

Can only echo what others have said, worked for myself for 13 years. Done projects up around 60k using bigger machines and employing expensive blokes. Most profitable enjoyable thing I do? Turn up...

The eurocomach is a very very well finished bit of kit, and unbelievably smooth on the hydraulics.
The 6 ton at hill head is a top spec machine with 3 piece boom, 6 way blade,...

I hire one occasionally and I like it, doesn't seem to have stood time too bad. Paint work hasn't stayed the best tho. Much better to drive with servos. Not had a price on an e10 but the latest...
