Volvo EC18D

Anyone own or operate one, and if so, how do you rate it?

I tried one today and was quite impressed; much easier to control than the Cat and Wacker offerings.

Iím not familiar with these at all, so taking a TBW 175 as an example, does the drive have more than one speed? And those hydraulic pistons over the rear axle; what do they do- oscillation lock...

Actually no fleet number on this one Rory, donít tell me it was spares or repairs:D. She needs new batteries and has a hydraulic leak that Iíll have to investigate, but is about as tidy a machine as...

Yes, thatís summed it up. Having said that, Iíd be looking for three proportionals for my own machine, either using the machines own controls, or the SS9 rig.
