Re: Crashed conversion

On thanks I wouldn't want to attempt this myself. I can see that the conversion would have limitations if you were looking to run up to 44t for example. I am happy enough with its low gear pulling...

Sounds like a chance not to be missed. No chance of a pic on just 1 post I guess.

Yes usually marked over one side window or the other which is the general direction you are likely to be looking (mirror) as you pass by a bridge or other road obstruction.

So should a tractor...

Re: - it's started BTLs

Sounds like a sensible subject for inclusion into drivers cpc. That is unless they have altered things lately:)

Re: - it's started BTLs

Re: - it's started BTLs

From my experience routine maintenance on farm trailers is no more than mending it when it breaks down.

Overloading is also a major issue as most which pass here are filled to the point where the...

Re: - it's started BTLs

I just wished them the best of luck. Not necessarily in favour of the idea. Nothing I can say will make them stop and phoning up vosa to complain is nothing short of a farce, (Have you tried that yet...

Re: - it's started BTLs

To me that scenario you came up with might describe some of the tractor or lorry operators I've seen recently, apart from you haven't mentioned the phone constantly stuck to the drivers ear.

Re: - it's started BTLs

Is it the answer to legislate and police, or just let people get on with their businesses?

I'm for the latter in all truth. I do wish they'd get on with bringing a solution rather than advertising...

Re: Micro digger/tracked dumper

Takeuchi was a short tail swing I think due to the roll over protection frame, don't quote me on that. I've also been on Kubota u10 with front levers which I liked but they can nod a bit when you...

Re: Micro digger/tracked dumper

Hi mate I hired a a takeuchi with servos a year or so ago and I can honestly say it's not for me.

I find myself getting on and off these little machines a lot so it's sticks up front for me.

Re: Engcon Big Dig Day - Saturday 3rd March 2018

When it came to choosing between getting froze or sitting in a warm cab showing everyone how not to do it,...
