Explain why it is dangerous to repair the pipe in the same way national grid would?

A pipe that shallow sooner or later is going to cause trouble.....if i repair it or not, either a contractor...

We are going on about us bodging a repair and possibly causing an accident but what about the negligent national grid burying pipes at stupid depths, nothing to stop Mr Jones when planting his spuds...

ive got compression couplings, denso and sikaflex in my "bollocks to national grid bury your pipes more than 3 inches deep repair kit" :cool: :D

I couldn't deal with the stress Local, yea business is good couple of landscape architects keep us going full time.

Update on this thread for you all, i dragged it out as long as i could, it all started getting serious and i ended up paying 500 quid for them to leave me alone.
