Re: the 'demise' of common sense

I had made a light hearted remark, then read the start of what looked like a bitch fight on your other thread and then changed my mind.

Can't speak for model man but had enough of it really as I...

Re: Jcb fastrac

As for getting a fasttrack Dan I agree with getting a regular tractor. All the up to date kit kit round here is more than capable of filling the role you mentioned. And for proper ag work better than...

Re: Jcb fastrac

Re: Druid’s New Duck – ’99 Hydrema-Wiemar M1500

Re: Druid’s New Duck – ’99 Hydrema-Wiemar M1500

Mintex pads on the John craddock website look to be £15 per axle for the P38 era range rover. I think it's always a good idea to support your local guy though, if that's where you got them? After...

Re: Hydrostatic drives in hot weather

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm expecting the grade of oil would be hyd46 but cannot vouch for this as I didn't service the machine myself. I will check this when the oil is changed now.

There is...

Re: Hydrostatic drives in hot weather

I had a general look round today. Rad and oil cooler nice and clear. Plenty of oil in the sight glass.

It would make sense that if hydrostatic systems aren't circulating the entire tankfull of...

Re: Hydrostatic drives in hot weather

It would make me happier knowing I wasn't the only one. In fairness it was working hard but that's what they're for. :)

Re: Tilty Advice please.

I think I would be looking at s30 but I don't have much experience with this size of machine.

Presumably s40 can be spect with the right capacity buckets for a 2.7t digger. Maybe a slightly...

Re: Crashed conversion

On thanks I wouldn't want to attempt this myself. I can see that the conversion would have limitations if you were looking to run up to 44t for example. I am happy enough with its low gear pulling...
