It strikes me as odd that the only push tractor models available are Cat machines..with few exceptions...EMD has an AC HD41 pusher and a 50's vintage IH TD24, OHS makes a Terex 82-80, and I saw a...

Interesting..after years of only custom built versions of DD9's, there are, or about to be, 3 manufacturers offering DD9G/H's, and or SxS D9's..

Most (not every bit) of the oil, antifeeze, transmission fluid and the gas tanks are drained and recycled before the cars ever get sent out into the public yard.

I took these pics the day they brought out a brand new grapple for my loader..the structure on the right grapple had worn out and the weld split, so the jaw wouldn't hold. They need to build these...

Tearing the cars apart made a lot of trash and my grapple was useful for picking that up...backdrag the whole mess...

The first couple of pics are my L90C Volvo loader. I was fairly impressed with it after I got used to it...the grapple could use some improvement, however. The V in the grapplees were very useful for...

I didn't actually run the loader with the Scorpion that fed the crusher, I ran the other Volvo L90C that had a Bros grapple on it..I loaded scrap metal into the trucks. I loaded 5 trucks one day,...
