The first thing that goes through my mind when a dealer sells as spares/repairs is that surely they have a mechanic (or access to one) so if it was an easy fix surely they would fix it?

They run gas safe for the HSE I believe so don’t think they would allow that part to collapse.

Got a Dmax myself, saw a post on isuzu Facebook group that you can uprate to 3500kg gvw (and i assume 7t gtw?) but have to add airbags on rear.

These people aren’t far from me, they’re in chesterfield. I’ve had a few sets of their recovery straps and been pleased with them. I believe they can make whatever you need.

Got a snap on box for my tools. It’s a shame the one that’s ended is a bit too tall as I’m looking for one I can fit under a workbench for storing bits and pieces.

No, I'm sure we get screwed over every way. I was thinking in terms of type approval that if something is legal to be on the road in mainland Europe I can't see how they could stop it here?
