Can't say I like the way a lot of it's strapped... Not going anywhere, but I wouldn't want to buy a new machine and have it chained down the way some of that kit is

Paul Mogman is the only way to go!
He now loads and unloads my Menzi on his own (hasn't turned it over yet!).
Couldn't get a more helpful guy.

Going off topic...
I was looking at your new wagon the other day, itís got an unusual spread between the rear axles on the tractor unit, donít see many like that. Is it a special build because of the crane?

Yes Gra , Iím sure it is a twin steer, but itís still got a long wheelbase for a standard tractor unit and a big gap between the drive axle and the second steer....but itís obviously not a Ďstandardí truck....it is Mogman after all

LOL Mog ... you can't cover the whole country mate .... though you do get about to be fair ....
that *rick with the lathe was just that .. a complete one
as for t'other one you couldn't make that up, you being there the day before ... if only I'd known

And in response to the other matter .... I did PM 'our leader' a few weeks ago and he logged in the next day, presumably to read it ... no reply, but it was his first log in since June ... so he must still get notifications .... at least it's still here boyo !!

You are right the rear axle is further back only seen on other like it
It means that the steering geometry is correct as in the same as a standard DAF but longer wheel base so can still get under long neck trailers with the Crane on board, couldnít do it with the old truck plus donít need a 9 or 10 tonne front axle as the crane is between both steers, if it was a standard long wheelbase it would be a tag or double drive and therefore need a heavier front axle with all the extra loading on the king pins etc.
