Default Gima large drilling machine head, also Rishton milling head

These are two separate items.

First, a Gima, Sweden, large drilling machine head, maximum capacity 1.1/4". Uses 400V 3ph two speed motor to give spindle speeds of 70, 140, 280, 340, 560, 680, 1350 and 2700 rpm, all geared.

Has power down feed, rates 0.30, 0.20, 0.14 and 0.08 mm per rev. Has an adjustable knockoff stop at the bottom.

Spindle uses 3mt.

Column size 100mm diameter.

Big and heavy, weights over 50kg.

Second, a Rishton VM60 milling machine head. Identified from photos, no obvious marking on the head.

Uses a dual voltage 230/400V motor so possibility of using an inverter, I have 3ph so all testing done with that. Speeds 130, 200, 370, 1100 and 2000 rpm. All geared head.

Head swivels +/- 90 degrees. Calibrated down feed hand wheel plus a quill that can be locked for milling.

Spindle uses 2mt.

Both were speculative purchases to uprate the drilling machine on my A&S universal machine tool. It only had a 1mt spindle, pretty useless, but I have hacked it to be 2mt, usable. This means that both power heads are now redundant. I have powered up and tested both heads, work fine. These took quite some hunting to find, but no room to keep otherwise I would, could be useful.

Will need to be collected.

Price, Gima 400 ono, Rishrton 500 ono.

I take it that you have JUST the heads - no columns ..... Like the look of the Gima .... looks Arboga-like and they were fine machines. ..... any chance of some more pix of it please ??

Just the head for the Gima, the Rishton does have the column.

Few more photos, if you want a specific photo then ask.

The last photo is of the Rishton, can only put three photos per post.
