You need a multimeter.
It sounds as though there isn't a fault at all Doob ..... 'the system' is shutting the dumper down, due to water losses, to save the motor, I'd guess.
If it's got tracks, wheels, t*ts, or an engine, at some point it's gonna give you trouble!!
