Default 180 digger front axle

I'm on a roll now with maintenance, decided to sort the uj on the front axle.
I'm in need of guidance now, I've got the two pins out. Top one easily came out, bottom one took some thrashing. What do I need to do now. I'm struggling to get the steering bits off, not sure I need to though.

put some pressure on with the bar you have , then give the housing where the ball joint goes through a swift clout with a good hammer , leave the nut on a bit so you do not fly when it goes

Cheers graham, I take it you are talking about the steering part. That's good advice will have a go if I need to take that bit off.
It's the main job I'm more concerned with, ie getting it to bits

You may need to put it back in position a bit so your levering up off a part that will hold the hub down. Also don't be afraid to put plenty WD40 or similar on it and leave to soak a while. Is it a pin holding the steering ram on?

once you get the track rod ends off and steering ram off the hub will come away with the drive shaft then you will have to seperate the uj from the hub and shaft

if i remember this right theres a circlip holding the bearing in the uj both sides once you get them out hammer back and forth to loosen the bearings once they come out it should be loose enough to come apart.there will be a short drive shaft in the hub which stays there unless you need to do the seals then you gotta strip the hub ive only done it once under supervision quite a few years ago not on that axle a krammer but should be the same process

I can't see how I could replace the uj with out getting the hub stripped. I could do with someone who could talk me through it step by step. All advice is greatly received so thanks everyone
