What sort of prices are folks paying?

I know prices vary countrywide, been a lot of local tips shut this last month due to wet and tips slipping.

On the project I'm on, I'm hiring in
transport and I pay 100 Kr = 8.98 per M3 it includes tipping fee and transportation, truck and trailer takes 22 M3 or 50 tonnes

so light masses will be 22 M3 per trip
with heavy clay it will be 15 - 20 M3 50-52 tonnes per turn depending on the type of clay, the driver usually accepts 2 tons over load for they usually only get a warning and not a fine at less than 2 tons over load

This price is with a distance to the tip of 13 miles one way
The longer the distance, the higher the price is

If I had my own truck and drove myself, I would have to pay
7.63 per M3 in tipping fee so it would be more expensive if I stood for the transport myself

since the only transport equipment I have is my rubber duck and dumper trailer, it had become F ***** g expensive

For the drive line I could have replaced when the job was finished if it has held so long since this job is 1400 M3 out and 100 M3 in

It had been about 215 trips totaling 5590 miles

not to talk about time, at 15.6 mph as average speed

because in Norway it is legal, but not particularly practical or smart
to use the duck dumper combo

F ***** g expensive solution for transportation

cheaper solution for transportation

Price at Tip Gate varies from 3-10 a ton on a inert tip, and 15-20 to tip Inert at a transfer station.

Muckaway wise it seems to be hovering around the 10/t mark for a 8 legger grab lorry at the moment locally/south devon. Not much use to me as they try to keep to the citys and IMHO can't see how that lower rate is sustainable.

We pay 150 for a 8t grab load. which is just over 15/t

Concrete is a different story if you know where to look.
