Default JCB main hub seal

Morning all

Anyone have any pointers to changing the main hub seal on a jcb axle . It's on a 526 loadall . Looks like one of those cassette type seals . The old one was a nightmare to get off from the axle side of the machine .

What's the procedure to fit it back ? Dont want to wreck it

Cheers

Clean up the machine side of the axle with emery paper, if any damage from removing the old seal remove this with a file. Press the seal into the hub, make sure the inner taper bearing is in the hub first. Fit the hub to the axle, ideal if you have another pair of hands to hold the hub square whilst you tap the inner race of the bearing onto the stub axle.
