Thanks for the kind words Gentlemen let me show you our first
D8H22A, i bought it from Dalton contracts gave it a tin of paint
after a full service then off to dig the car park for Milton-Keynes
open university,then off to help fill bridge embankments to cross
the M1 at Newport Pagnel to Milton Keynes.

The second compactor on the back did,nt last long after the D8
towed them back on top,while walking to the tea bus we heard a
bang and saw a cloud of smoke behind the Bomag, then we came
across a trail of oil and metal,she,d put a leg out of bed,they
dont like working on there side for too long

that driver was very lucky not to have pulled the whole issue down the bank......check out the boy in the first pic climbing in/out the cab

Yes Richard,it looks dodgy the driver climbing about the 955 but
i,m certain the D8,s chained to it,although my memories fading a bit
after 30 years

That was,nt the first time this chap got into trouble with a 955
we had to rescue him on more than one occasion,this time with
the D6, maybe he took the cab off for a quicker exit, you can
imagin what he,s saying looking down at the track "o shit"
