That's dissapointing to hear, the 210 looks clean but it's probably new.

As long as the rest of them aren't feared of greasing breakers I'm happy 😉

The younger guy don't know how to grease the diggers let alone the breakers! I was told before by a ubc digger driver that was on the same site as me that my breaker was fu###d because the oil was running out of it down the point, it was grease but he wouldn't believe me that you had to grease them,a few days later his shattered and was unremarkable!

Oh boy oh boy oh boy those 3 letters you mentioned there didn't fill me with any positive thoughts as I started reading.
Guys like that are why I fit auto lube to the Hammers in the fleet. But then you've gotta rely on them swapping the cart as required.

They only give drivers that grease things hired in plant too expensive for them if things get broken they found out the expensive way a few years ago when a breaker went back to hire company in a mess, they bought the breaker of them rather than pay what the hire company wanted to repair it!due to lack of grease

A rare firm that one then. I'm pretty hot on the greasing, try and give everyone a wee talk at handover about it. so far 90% have been very receptive.

It doesn't take long to jump out of machine and grease the breaker, it's jcb grease we use but I don't think it's very good the blue grease doesn't seem to last on the diggers and hammer grease seems to run pretty easily too

Doesn't take long atall, Especialy when I supply grease guns that take screw in cartridges. No excuse atall, keeps it clean quick and no air locks.

The myths of coloured grease, meant to be superior.... I used to use the blue stuff too because I buy it at a good price and grease regular so it's no problem to me if its not hanging around for a week in the bushes as I grease every day-every other day depending.

As for hammer grease, you really need to use quality chisel paste with solids in. I use FRD sencio grease - fuchs meiselpaste. Always grease the hammer with the tool pushed right back against the piston (easy enough just to grease it upright touching the ground ) until you see lube come out the bottom bush. Grease every 1-2hours depending on use.

I know some manufacturers spec std ep2 for hammer grease but it's not got the temp range so it will just gush straight back out. 😞😞😞
