Default Bucket pins

I'm upgrading my kubota kx36-3 to a kubota u17, both share the same dipper width and pin centres but the 36 has 25mm pins and the u17 has 30mm pins, is there a sleeve that I could put on the 25mm pin to increase to 30mm, what other option do I have? It's only for 1 attachment, a rake.

Cheers

If you have a quick hitch that picks up variable centres it will probably grab it tight enough anyway.

Find your local smith/fab shop and ask them to alter the rake to your new hitch and pin dimensions. Unless I have missed something I would expect them to have it done in a short time. I doubt you would find a sleeve alternative workable but someone else here might have an idea?

By far the easiest thing to do would be to have the rake headstock bored out.

If you use a pin grabber type hitch (or direct mount) then a bush over the pins before bolting them into the headstock or into the digger before coupling up might work. But it would cost the same to make them as to bore the headstock out to 30mm, as well as being a faff.

Much the same but back to work Monday. Try to keep weekends free these days and make my money in normal 5 days.

Thanks guys

I'll see how tight it is in the hitch, if not get them bored out.

If boring is too expensive you could get the 25 bosses cut out and 30 bosses welded in place of, that'll be happening if it was dropped on my floor Jonathan
