Ruben, it's what's known as lithium complex EP2. The moly is the correct grease really, because of it's resistance to loading characteristics, but for small machines the lithium will be fine. It wont last so long before pounding out. I have found one of the best underwater greases is a Total product called Ceran WR 2.

What in your opinion should I use in my brand new machine to keep it tight as possible? Money no object, it's not like I've a fleet to keep greased.

Use Moly for the Pins and EP2 for the Slew ring seems to work on my machines.

All plain pins and bushings use Molybdenum and for bearings use Lithium EP 2 or lithium complex EP2.

Spot on, cheers.

That Moly sticks like shit to a blanket, I've used it inside air rifle pistons before.

i use jcb blue grease seems to stay in bushes etc well may not be cheapest but when you do have to pull a pin out they allways look well lubed, fairly often the jcb dealers have promotions on whole cartons/boxs.

Who actually makes the grease for Jcb.
I know Morris oils make the lubricants for massey, fendt and valtra.

I need to do some checking as rule of thumb in my memory Shell Gadus EP 2 costs me 2 tube used it Propshaft, slewring & Engcon.
3% moly used in autolube, steering joints, rear blade etc is 3 tube.
NLGI 2 Kernite breaker grease was about 3.50 -4 tube iirc bought several boxes years ago and only just about finished it.
