Thwaites alldrive six tonne dumper

Can anyone help with this?

I need the workshop manual for the twaites Alldrive 6 tonne dumper model: MACH 065\3

The clutch is dragging so it’s difficult to select the gears.

It’s operated by an electronic switch on the pedal!

It has the shuttle box with the forward/reverse on the dashboard switch, clutch pedal switch and a 4 speed manual gearbox which is grating and difficult to select as the clutch is dragging!.


Any suggestions?

there is no clutch on that ... the pedal is merely a disengage switch for the torque converter ... does it drag when the fwd/rev switch is in neutral ??

I might have a manual for the 6t alldrive on PDF somewhere ... will have to have a look

So will changing the transmission oil do the trick V8?

I doubt it has been changed in over a decade.

can't hurt for sure ... be careful what you put in .. IIRC it's ATF-Dexron free -- I think??
gear box will be different - probably

if the search was working on here I am pretty sure this has been discussed before, but finding it is not easy without the search.

It's a blooming nightmare, there are 168 different ATF oils and without a
manual there's no way to identify which one is required!
There's no search that returns a result for the MACH 065\3 model number
that's stamped on the plate!!!

And 6 tonne alldrive 1997 has a complete range and the nearest think I
could find was" Liquimatic Super ATF Transmission Oil"

think you're gonna have to talk to Thwaites Boyo ... mine is '97 swivel, 6t Alldrive, shuttle, 4 speed ...
just looked and the manual I have is for a manual (clutch) lister/petter engined 6t all drive

mine has a 4 pot perky in it .... JCB axles/box/shuttle, etc. and touch a LARGE piece of wood has never given any issues in ten years ...
