Default Blade droop

Brother in laws 2.6t Volvo mini: the blade slowly drops. Hes put new seals in the ram, but it still slowly drops. Whats the likely cause please? Could it be seals in the spool?

Quite possibly seals in the slew joint. Best way to check would be to blank the top side of the slew joint off and see if it drops then.

Hi,

Is the o-ring installed between the rod and the piston. I've been caught out by this once. The blade would hold the machine up all day but when you lifted the blade up it slowly dropped to the floor. The oil pressure on the piston side must of been enough to hold the piston tight against the shoulder on the rod when lifting the machine up.
