You are Welcome to visit our not so flat country

The highest point in the Denmark is Møllehøj the highest natural point in Denmark at 170.86 m (561 ft)

A 100 m from my house there is a mountain knoll off 36 m height and standing on top of that I can look at mountains that is about 400 m high

The highest point in the Norway is Galdhøpiggen (English: Galdhø Peak)
is the highest mountain in Norway, Scandinavia and Northern Europe, at 2,469 m (8,100 ft) above sea level.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galdhøpiggen

The highest point in Scotland (also the highest in Britain) is Ben Nevis, standing at 1344 metres (4409 ft.).

The highest points in England and Wales are, respectively, Scafell Pike (978 metres : 3208 ft.) and Snowdon (1085 metres : 3560 ft.).

The highest point in Northern Ireland is Slieve Donard in the Mourne Mountains at 850 metres (2789 ft.).

I have been in UK three times and one time in Scotland and although it's quite different to Norway, there is no less a wonderful countryside you have

Here you will find guidance to some places which is worth a visit

The famous (at least in Norway) "Trollstigen" highway. "Trollstigen" means "Troll's Ladder", named for the extremely steep switchbacked mountainside highway in this picture.
It was quite an engineering feat, and much fun to drive (with a great view).
The town of Aandalsnes is on the barely-visible fjord in the far distance.
The train route from Aandalsnes to Oslo runs along this valley too (and somehow makes it up this thing!).

Hey all the following pictures are all taking inside my home county, meaning less than an hour drive in any direction from my home

None of them are taking by myself so I cannot take the credit for being the the photographer.

This one I have walked under many a time on my way to a good fishing spot

These are from the closest town to where I'm living
