i will admit, im a bit of a poser in mine, its nice to be different, better than rolling around in a mondeo. parts are not a problem, rock auto have it all and it arrives within either 2 days, 7 days or 14 depending on the choice you make at checkout, one thing is the parts are seriously cheap, new full mirror assembly on mine was about 20! new crank was 85

Maybe us coming out the EU will enable us to import more of this kinda kit.

I am a big truck / diesel enthusiast, petrol does not interest me.

You do have to think ahead though, for parking at least

that said, to me there miles , and i mean miles above any uk truck, they drive like a range rover, just a tiny bit more bouncy with the leaf springs, they go like stink, fuel is 18 mpg ish maybe 22 remaped, the rear tailgate has a pull down step and steady bar, big bed, pull 3.5 tonne in the uk (4.5tonne in the states on towbar) town 13000lbs in the states on a 5th wheel, its about 6 tonne in the uk i think...

usual rear camera, blue tooth, streaming, nice leather etc etc
cheers Ross ..... a mate has something similar with a big petrol V8 on LPG.

He gets 28-30mpg out of it, on any distance runs which is amazing, but it's barely turning over at 70
Different story running round local ... closer to 20, .... clog it and it's a different story!! .......... but as you say drives like a Rangey, top spec cabin and a vast amount of space

Just has the turning circle of a supertanker

It's not a v6 motor they have, it's a bit strange they only sell LHD as there is plenty running around down under in RHD version.

You may find exchange rate has a lot to do with importing Australian trucks not to mention the haulage cost !
