Volvo EC27C Controls

Hi all a few weeks ago I had my little 8014 stolen from a locked shed on a site I own, a replacement was needed and I bought a 2015 Volvo EC27C.
Naturally its a much bigger machine and it looks to be well made if not as smooth in operation as the 8014 and the 8026 I had borrowed previously.
Still a decent machine so far in my view.

I did not get an operators manual and think it could be a handy addition if any one has a digital copy out there please?

I have also had to get my self a new Pecker and decided on a Digger Auger too as we are going to be fencing a couple of our self build sites soon.

I wondered about the Volvo's auxiliary control as the Auger mentions running it in reverse to release the spoil, I wondered if I have that facility on the Volvo or if I have to get it fitted up somehow, can anyone help on that subject please?

I think it is basically a Volvo badged Bobcat? from what I have seen on the web.

Absolutely any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA

There should a lever in cab on our ec 25 it's by your right leg, it selects single acting or double acting

Hi Alan, thank you I will check it out later today. Is the auxiliary drive switch on the underside of the right hand joystick?
I also read in the Digga Auger instructions it says it should have a variable foot control so I will ring the supplier to see if it is a definite requirement as it also says start slow revs and increase the speed via the host machine throttle which must do more or less the same thing.

Button under stick selects between boom slew and aux, then use top switch to work service

Hi Alan, Right thanks for that. I saw the button on the bottom and wondered if it just did the pecker in a single acting fashion, It now makes sense as I was playing at slewing the boom and noticed the button/lever that actually slews it faster or slower depending on position. So I guess with the Auger connected and the bottom button pressed it will be speed and direction adjustable?

You only have to press button once to change between slew and aux then press again to change back again,i will check on machine in morning what side of boom the hammer flow is on and will let you know
