PITA ....... mrs D is never happy to see my overalls in the pile and usually get relegated to the cat's bedding wash!!

Yeah we do work clothes at the yard. Keeps everyones other halves happy.

Anytime I come across a free washing machine, I grab it and put it in storage. Current one seems to be a good 'un, it'll do an intense deep clean, or a 30 minute jobby if your in a rush.

Old wives tip that works- add soda crystals to help break down the oils and grease.

I'm 33 but still take my really dirty overalls to mums haha and dog towels

She has 3 grades of washing machine 1 house, 2 work wear, 3 horse rugs/dog beds saves my washing machine as as their farm is our yard in there few times a week.

She gets fencing and work in return haha

Was it on here someone was saying about soaking diesel stained stuff in vinegar to get rid of the smell

silly season is upon us now though were we will all be sliding around in knee deep clay in a trench or connecting up drainage it wet trenches

hoping for a winter of factory work inside with the heating on

we went to a job today, fully expecting to be in a 16th century forge house, lowering the floor, rocked up and guy changed his mind.. 2 soakaways please... rain all day, no waterproofs, hate my job sometimes
