Default Best wet weather gear is....

??????


Soaked to the bone today, home early and can feel a chill.

Recomendations, please.

Staying in the digger is the most effective , or if you have to get out I believe Gortex is the best.

I forked out on the snickers waterproofs, can work pretty hard in them before sweating becomes an issue, ive not ripped them yet and if you wash them you then can iron them to make them waterproof again.

8/10 for now (only used them 6 times so far)

Best bit of clothing? Milwaukee heated jacket.... Awesome

Build a cab for the micro - means you only get wet you need to use the dumper and don't have to sit on a wet seat when you get back on the machine!!

Love the idea Strott, sounds like an episode of Blue Peter, toilet rolls and Uhu glue all over the spot !

Got an all in one suit,pulsa rail,waterproof but unlined,no gaps to let rain in,pair of dunlop purfoot wellies,neither are cheep,but keep you as dry as anything,after 12hrs your gonna get wet regardless!

Well the 'cab' on my micro comes of in less that a minute so detachable enough for me!!!!!

But yes when you get out the machine is where the problems arise
