Hi Rob, Thankyou for the explanations, if you can get the work boat alongside a bank or some sort of wharf, maybe temporary i would then unload the muck with a standard ditching bucket. the 130 would be small enough. I have seen it done alot. We worked on the maidenhead flood relief project. I will get my self down and have a look soon.
Trax.

Trax.
You are more than welcome for both the info and for a visit.
The more visitors we get the more it gets talked about and you never know just who it might get mentioned to one day.

Christ!! you dont hang about do you I never even had chance to polish the brass

Wow, is all I can say, thank you very much for taking the time to have a look, I know it would not have been a 2 minutes just down the road trip for you to make.

Glad you liked the pub, a million times better since it got a new landlord, just sorry you were between meal times. I am pretty sure Sunday is an all day affair and the couple of times I managed to get the better half out, we had very good fayre but the sun was shining also.

Please fire away with any question I will endeavour to answer what I can.
You can PM me with any you may consider sensitive if you prefer.

Home tonight as snow buggered the TM for nightshift but back up M1 Thurs till Sat.

Hi Rob...From where the new lock is dammed The stretch of canal to the first invisable lock's lowerbank, towpath side seems very steep, the trees are mainly nothing but Hawthorne elder and Scrub so would it not be possible to grub this out and then sit a 20 tonne long reach (15M) Max. On the towpath and cast the dregdgings down the bank and shape it to a shallower gradient. ?
