Default Ditch clearing with weed basket

Afternoon everyone

Does anyone do any weed cutting on here?
Looking at purchasing a weed basket for 14/16 ton excavator with a dipper extension.
Also trying to price a ditch clearing job on a per metre basis. It's just to clear rubbish from ditch bottom rather than slubbing it out.
Can anyone help??
Thanks

I think that you will find that a lot of the active members who could provide you with a sensible answer to your question have migrated to the new forum:

We've looked at reed cutting buckets and I worked with one once hauling the weeds with our dump truck. If you have any willow bushes the sickle bar teeth will break at least on the dutch reed cutter I was working with. I'm in Canada and we do all our ditching on a hourly basis it seems to ensure a better quality job.
