Default stolen machinery, how do i check?

im in the market for a takeuchi 1.5t but after mistakenly buying a stolen machine when i first started out i want to avoid all of that. i know how to find out if a car is stolen but how about machinery? any tips?

Ld as Graham said TER is good. The dealers of the particular machine would usually know if you run the Sn past them.

when I bought a hanix mini digger I went to main dealer they soon told me it was not stolen ,but at that time he said a lot of customers get a nasty shock as nearly a third are nicked or on lease/hp

LD they take a fee to register your own machines with them, i would think there is also a charge for checking one out for you.

You can register up to 5 items with no charge.
