i think thats a great concept. if you get one new advancement from these excersises you are moving forward in the industry. yeah plenty of ideas that wouldnt work but you got to look at ideas

Trouble with Remote control/cameras is depth perception. It's not new tech (ROV's have used it for years) and Demolition firms have had cameras on LRE's for years. However the lack of depth perception is a serious issue.

There are however Mines in Auzzie land apparently that use fleets of RC plant!

As concepts go they all seem to be thought up by people with great ideas on whiteboards who seem to think that problems are solvable only with Tech.... We all know this isn't the case, Uneven ground? Level it, Trench changes size? Change the bucket! And in those circumstances where those solutions don't work, there are generally specialist bits of kit!
