The 2013 h.e. Hooker
The new H.E. Hooker has been released into the wild and is behaving itself. Come take a look at the video from the H.E. Open day which gives a brief demonstration of the new hitch known as the HOOKER. It's a fully automatic quick hitch with new key safety features that stop the bucket from departing from the quick coupler. The hitch also allows for reversible buckets )

Looks a very violent way to change a bucket?

Re: The 2013 h.e. Hooker
'Hooker!' couldn't have had a better name?
A few good self drive hires and it'll be shagged within an inch of it's life and slacker than a Wizards Sleeve!!
I can't see many beating the door down to get hold of one to retrofit to other machines, but a sledgehammer and bar was an improvement on the old 'Masterhitch'.
Why mess about with all this? Just take a load of Geith, Miller, Hill or whatever and give the customers what they want?
Eddie.

Like Eddie says, surely with the amount that HE would be buying would mean a fair discount,
thats a fair heavy looking piece of metal, why not slim it down abit more like the rest!

I hope that shed was made from wood from a sustainable source ..... some old chap would have loved that little shed for his allotment ....
....... don't know what the digger had to do with a shed advert ....

The only point i see to that hitch is it makes you use HE buckets and attatchments there for more HE profits other than that it looks a turd to me

Re: The 2013 h.e. Hooker
Had an HE 8t Komatsu on job before last, different type of engagement to the 'old' masterhitch, because it was on a road job found it bit tricky to grab the 'hook' in without dragging it on road surface, maybe I'm a bit 'cack handed' but would rather have a pin engagement hitch, the last job on the Hitachi,Hill, was bout as good as it gets I think?
