tell me this, if you are at an auction and there are 30 machines all the same, whens the best time to bid on one? too early when the bar is being set, or too late when the last few desperate stragglers are hoping for a deal? i assume bidding on the second quarter?

tough one Dan - sometimes the first one's the cheapest !! and if there's enough of 'em and a lack of buyers the last few too?
Plus if there's 'stand on' in operation you might not get a look in if the buyer gets a deal on his first buy ........ and is greedy !!

As above Dan, first one is always the cheapest

Only way to buy used is to look at the machines you want. Don't ever bid on unknown items unless you want yr trousers pulled down !!! God luck looking through a big fleet and trying to choose. Need a week at least for that lot.

to much choice is a bad thing but bid first and make sure you get in the bidding as otherwise you can find yourself spent on the last bid.... i.e its worth 5k but not 5250....

Choice lots the good ones will usually always go first too, but also sometimes (maybe not now) they will all get snapped up.

I remember the days when Richie brothers had about 70 kx36's, they were bringing them over the ramp 10 at a time. A friend and I were going to buy 3 or 4 out of the 70, but they met the same price time over time and were going out all 10 at a time. Really showed the small guys from the big boys lol.
