Default Need Help - Can anyone recommend a good team leader/manager

Hi Guys,

We are currently looking for a new team leader/manager/foreman type for our surfacing division. We've always worked on word of mouth and recommendations for new staff but seem to have drawn a blank this time.

With all the companies going down in the last 18 months I was wondering if any of you knew someone who was a good reliable type who would be able to quote and price jobs and then manage the lads on site, source materials etc.

Thinking you may know someone who was out of work not through lack of quality but through a company folding during the recession.

Don't want to post on any of the big job sites as don't want 2000 CVs to trawl though.

Knowledge of surfacing e.g. tarmac/asphalt etc is ideally required but a general knowledge of groundworks/civils would also be good.

Jobs in Cheshire, we don't normally do job abverts so not sure what I've missed so feel free to ask for more info.

Thanks,

Mike
