I dont know whether the hook gear is different between the 2 wheelbases to account for this but i have picked up a short plate with an 8 wheel hookloader before and as it picked it up was almost vertical
Alright to use as a flat bed butno way ypu would drag a machine on with it
Obviously the longer the bodies the shallower the angle they load at so the safer when a machine is being loaded

Thanks for the input - its the kind of info I need - dont want to get something and couple of weeks in realise ive f*@ked up - i will do a bit of research on hookloading gear 👍
