Plenty of interest intrest in older machinery. How/ why they developed etc .
Some of the best threads on here are about the old Cats and scrapers etc.
Machines most of us know little about.

What model is this one, Sean? Where did you find it and how many hours on it?

Got admit some ignorance here, but whose tracks did JCB use on these loaders?

As I can't see any brake pedals I'm assuming that's hydrostatic Sean???
It also looks to be the BIG BOY of the family .... can't remember the model but looks a hell of a beast!

I'm very envious ....... would look real nice on me patch ..... the boss wouldn't agree, but just take it as read ..... It'd look real good!!

I know you're a bit of an authority on these, so let's be 'aving the full SP Boyo

Its the 114 the largest of the three models as the name suggest's.100 is the series of machines 110 being ten ton 112 twelve ton and 114 fourteen ton.I will not be stripping it down for one of those sort of restorations as it is quite clean and rust free in all the important places. It will be more of a good quality tart up.

Its the 114 bri,I'm not sure who would have supplied the running gear in this ere but probably 955 size chains would suffice.I acquired it from face book contacts,a guy from Rochdale.

It is the big one 114,they did plan to build a 300 hp model but as we know it never appeared. What a monster that would have been !Its got T6.354 in it and sounds vicious along with the high pitched whining of the pumps.Yes all travel controlled by the hand bar in the pic.
