I agree, working in lovely countryside then you see used grease cartridges, fag packets, fag butts, sweet wrappers, etc, etc littering the ground really riles me.

Bought myself a Dewalt 20 volt Lithium Ion grease gun a couple days ago, bloody nice system. My friend has one of the Milwaukee 18 volt Lithium Ion grease guns and loves it. It has several settings so you can vary how many squirts of grease it pumps with one trigger pull, but the price was much mightier that I liked and it only came as a bare tool with no battery or charger. Thankfully Dewalt had a battery and charger kit as well an adaptor so you can use the lithium ion batteries on a tool designed for 18 volt nicad batteries. This will be a nice tool to have with me if I'm running any bigger equipment again.

Aye ..... but mines's been totally trouble free Mart and stays clean .. unless yer's a mucky bugger and get it everywhere.
Pull plunger back, take the pump off, eject old tube, with plunger, into the bin, retract and slip in a fresh tube and refit pump ..... no dramas!!
Sticks I use have an easily removed end cap and a ring pull type end at the pump.
no need to touch the stick at all other than dropping it in. None of these fiddly pull out caps/plugs !!

yeh, very Mart had a box and a bucket ... very pleased ... they don't list any Moly di-sulph on there though ...
it's on their own website, but significantly dearer, comparatively speaking.

Their tubes are a pleasure to use too ... no grease everywhere trying to get those bloody stupid push fit caps out
