some reading for you guys ......

http://www.cityam.com/277892/carilli...es-during-2017

http://www.theconstructionindex.co.u...-plans-kick-in

http://www.theconstructionindex.co.u...ustry-responds

http://www.theconstructionindex.co.u...llion-collapse

https://www.pwc.co.uk/services/busin...suppliers.html

You may well be lucky Gra, as it was JV and the partner is contracted to 'pick up' the slack / shortfall/comings of Carrilion ....

Looking at PWC-C's website, others are unlikely to be quite as lucky ... reading between the lines ......any goods/services/etc. supplied after the insolvency date "will be paid for" .... if you're dull enough to actually hang in there and supply the ****s with anything ... Prior to that ... reckon you've more chance of a lottery win

We had a job Thursday and Friday for Carillion, but won't be going unless we can get something in writing that we will be paid. As it is for a government agency and safety critical you would hope someone would pull their finger out.

thought the MOD stuff was JV Gra ..... as such the partner is 100% liable to honour contracts and pay the contractors involved ..... apparently ..... always assuming that they're sound of course ????

MOD are JV, but this is someone else who are on a PFI, managed by Carillion itself.

Well I'd like to know WTF paid this guy for this article? .... ... as if the question needs asking !!

http://www.theconstructionindex.co.u...ion-witch-hunt

What a load of bollox .... my heart bleeds - NOT !!

Inordinate salary, obscene 'bonuses', even whilst 'Rome burned' ... all for leading them to self destruction

I defy anyone to read this and not be incensed

seen this sort of buisness many times, they go in low knowing full well they cant deliver and then try to hammer the client with extras once the job has got to a point that they wont be bombed off.worst thing is its the ordinary folk like us that gets shafted while those in charge get a nice payoff and go on to do it again and again in a different name, the government may not be bailing them out but everyone whos a member of the same banks they owe money to will be making a donation

wasn't so much the Modus operandi I was having a rant about Mart ... more the t**t who'd written the defensive article on How*on ..... he knew exactly what the score was, continued to pull his money and obscene bonuses and just sat and watched it sink, caused by just what you refer to .....
No acountability
