Yeah I understand that. I think if I was to buy one I'd have an autogreaser installed just to ensure that a grease zerk doesn't get missed and cut wear down to a minimum.

AKA, we stuck some gear oil in the sump and gave it a sniff of easystart....

Nah ........ you'd smell hypoid in the sump at a 1000 yards, the second you started it up ..... if you hadn't dipped it already

Rather odd that the mid boom section has a solid bar rather than a ram. Was the ram an option?

fixed degree of offset, rather than variable hydraulically, I'd guess ..... link has 3 holes

I wonder if the ram was removed to free up another service on the boom by previous owner.
